5 Module Safety & Validation Testing

The Safety & Validation Testing stage is a comprehensive suite of tests performed on prototype and pre-production battery modules to verify that the design meets all specified performance, reliability, and, most importantly, safety requirements before mass production. Validation testing confirms that the engineered module fulfills the intended purpose and customer needs, while safety testing subjects the module to abusive conditions to ensure it behaves in a predictable and safe manner, preventing hazardous outcomes like fire or explosion. This stage often involves both physical testing and extensive modelling/simulation to predict behavior under a wide range of conditions.
