Granulator ADuro G Shredder
ADuro G-1600
Industrial Scale
Short Description
The ADuro G single-shaft granulator serves as a fine-shredder in battery recycling. The knife system operates based on the guillotine shear principle for efficient cutting, and adjustable counter-knives ensure a long lifetime. A hydraulic pusher feeds the material into the cutting zone, where it is processed into a homogeneous output of predefined size. The material passes through a screen before discharge, with multiple discharge options available.

Technical Parameters
Product Information in Detail
- The ADuro G is a high-performance, single-shaft granulator designed for precise and efficient material processing. It operates based on the guillotine shear principle, using block knives mounted on the rotor in combination with stationary knives to achieve consistent and powerful cutting action. It allows tailored material processing and ensures high efficiency across a wide range of input materials.
- In battery recycling, the ADuro G typically serves as a fine-shredder in the Material Separation stage, following pre-shredding systems such as the ADuro C. It reduces shredded battery material to a defined particle size, enabling efficient downstream sorting and material recovery. For lower-throughput applications, it can also be fed directly with discharged battery cells and modules.
- The ADuro G can be operated as a standalone unit or as part of a vertical tower configuration together with the ADuro C. In this compact two-step setup, entire battery packs can be processed efficiently with optimized material flow between shredding stages and minimal system footprint.
- A hydraulic pusher system feeds material into the cutting zone, increasing throughput and helping to prevent bridging. The rotor and stator block knives cut the material to a predefined size.
- Once the target size is reached, the processed material passes through a granulation screen, which is positioned below the rotor and above the discharge area.
- Various screen sizes and discharge systems are available depending on the material type and installation requirements.
- The modular design supports a wide range of configurations, and the use of hardened, wear-resistant knives ensures durability and low maintenance. The robust mechanical setup make the ADuro G ideal for secondary size reduction of complex material streams, including those containing metal components.
